Creative Freedom Booklet and Poster

The booklet “Creative Freedom” explores the themes of rights and freedom in the United States. I designed a 16-page booklet focused on how creative expression, particularly through dance, film, and the arts, embodies freedom. My approach centers on expressing freedom through creative movement, flow, and openness.
My typography choices are the use of a fluid-like typeface complemented by another serif typeface and a sans serif typeface.
The booklet features articles from The New York Times that highlight the stories of individuals in creative mediums such as dance and film to represent how creative freedom is expressed and how these mediums encourage people to keep creating.

References/Inspirations
The references and inspirations for my poster show different movements and rhythm. For example, the typefaces create rhythm through different heights and weights. How the composition uses negative space in between elements which adds dynamism and rhythm to the composition.
